Appliqueing orange peels / Appliquer les peaux d'oranges

I have decided on the placement of my prints

And have taken a photo with my cell, so that I have the design to go back to as I applique the pieces

J'ai décidé de la position de chaque imprimé

Et pris une photo avec mon portable, afin de conserver le modèle pour appliquer les pièces

I use an applique needle, it is long, fine and flexible 

and some thread I bought long ago in France used to sew gloves

It is fine and kind of glace, fantastic for appliqueing as it does not twist

J'utilise une aiguille à appliquer, elle est longue, fine et flexible

et du fil à gant acheté il y a bien longtemps en France

C'est un fil très fin, un peu glacé qui ne s'entortille pas et qui est fantastique pour appliquer

I simply put a couple of pins to secure the shape in place

Je mets simplement deux épingles à tête pour maintenir la forme en place

And then start near the tip of the orange peel to secure that end

Puis commence tout près d'une pointe de la peau d'orange pour fixer cette extrémité

These orange peels are pretty quick to applique

Ces peaux d'oranges sont faciles à appliquer

Now let's make a slit at the back with a sharp pair of scissors

Maintenant faisont une fente à l'arrière avec une paire de ciseaux bien pointus

I pinch the paper to remove it

Je pince le papier pour l'enlever

Easy!
