Flannel Lap Quilt / Patchwork en flanelle

Here is the second flannel lap quilt I made for my daughter, using what I had left of the bunch of fabrics I had bought at the Houston Quilt Show.

Voici le deuxième plaid en flanelle que j'ai réalisé, celui-ci pour ma fille, en utilisant ce qui me restait de la collection de tissus achetés au Quilt Show de Houston.

Since I was using scraps, this time I used 6" squares and 3" borders all around. However, I used more pastel colors this time.

Etant donné que j'utilisais les morceaux restants, j'ai conçu ce plaid avec des carrés de 15 cm et des bordures de 7,5 cm. Cependant, j'ai utilisé plus de pastels cette fois-ci.

As in the my first flannel lap quilt, I used scraps to do the binding.

Comme pour mon premier plaid en flanelle, j'ai utilisé les bandes restantes pour faire le biais de finition.

I hand-quilted it with cream pearl cotton in straight lines on the dark flannel.

J'ai quilté ce plaid à la main avec du coton perlé écru sur la flanelle marron foncé.

My daughter loves this lap quilt which she can use on her bed in the winter since it is big enough to put at the foot of the bed ( 57" X 66").

Ma fille adore ce plaid qu'elle utilise sur son lit en hiver puisqu'il est suffisamment grand pour couvrir le pied du lit (145 X 168 cm).

I am trying to finish several projects at the same time... I may be overoptimistic... in particular my country quilt and I hope to show it to you soon with its colorful borders... 

J'essaie en ce moment de terminer plusieurs projets en même temps... peut-être suis-je trop optimiste... en particulier mon patchwork campagnard, et j'espère bientôt vous le montrer avec sa bordure colorée...
