As planned, I added the last border with the corner squares, for which I chose the same fabric as one used for the squares framing the star. It has a cream background and thus breaks from the white in the border.
Comme prévu, j'ai ajouté la dernière bordure et les carrés d'angles, pour lesquels j'ai choisi le même tissu que l'un de ceux utilisés pour les carrés qui encadrent l'étoile. Cet imprimé a un fond beige qui apporte une touche plus douce au blanc de la bordure.
The inner border that I had to piece looks perfect and I have to look closely to see where the sewing lines are.
La bordure intérieure rend vraiment bien et il me faut regarder de très près pour trouver les coutures d'assemblage.

It is nice to end this year with one stage of a quilt completed and it so happens that this one fits the season.
Now it is back to the kitchen counter to prepare for New Year's Eve...
C'est agréable de terminer cette année avec une étape d'un patch terminée, d'autant plus que celui-ci est dans l'atmosphère des fêtes.
Et maintenant je dois retourner à mes fourneaux pour préparer le réveillon du Nouvel An.
