Center  Block / Bloc Central

The last blocks of my Civil War Quilt. This one is so complicated that I decided to hand-piece it.

This block will go in the center of the quilt with two other blocks on each side, which I now need to start working on. The last two blocks are identical.

Ce bloc va être placé au centre du patch avec deux autres blocs de chaque côté, que je vais maintenant commencer. Les deux derniers blocs sont identiques.

A lot of Y seams in this block. Again, I am going to hand piece it.

Beaucoup d'assemblages en Y dans ce bloc. Je vais aussi le piécer à la main.

With a very busy summer this year, and very few opportunities to sit quietly to sew, this is all the sewing I managed to get done! With the children being a week away from getting back to school, I should be able to fall back into a good routine again.

Avec un été très mouvementé cette année et peu d'occasions de m'asseoir dans le calme pour coudre, c'est tout ce que j'ai pu accomplir cet été! Les enfants vont dans une semaine reprendre le chemin de l'école, je pourrai ainsi reprendre ma routine de couture.
