Finished at last!!! / Enfin terminé!!!

Hand quilting the border of my Scandinavian Christmas Heart Quilt has taken me so long... I have just put the last stitch and feel so very proud of the result!

Matelasser à la main la bordure de mon patch de Coeurs de Noël Scandinaves m'a pris un temps fou... Je viens de coudre le dernier point et je ne suis pas peu fière du résultat!

I find this design goes well with the rest of the quilting, simple and not too busy

I love the center star and surrounding hearts

J'adore l'étoile centrale et les coeurs tout autour

It was designed for a table and indeed it makes a beautiful display

Il était destiné à couvrir une table et en effet, c'est sa place

It is way too early, or too late, for a Christmas or a Valentine's Day decoration, but I am going to enjoy it for a while...

Il est bien trop tôt, ou trop tard, pour une décoration de Noël ou de la Saint Valentin, mais je vais tout de même en profiter pendant quelques temps...

Before I leave you, I would like to share with you a website that gives a great tip to make half-square triangles quickly. You probably know the method to make two half-square triangle blocks from two squares but HERE you can learn how to make eight!!!

This site offers many free blocks and started in January their Bitty Blocks adventure. They post a new block the first Monday of each month and if you do want to join, HERE is the link that will get you all the blocks since January.

Avant de vous quitter, j'aimerais partager avec vous un site qui donne un truc vraiment fantastique pour réaliser des blocs de carrés à deux triangles très facilement. Vous connaissez sans doute la méthode pour en réaliser deux à partir de deux carrés mais ICI vous apprendrez comment en réaliser huit!!!

Ce site offre de nombreux blocs gratuits et a lancé en janvier une nouvelle aventure avec ses Bitty Blocks. Un nouveau bloc est posté chaque premier lundi du mois et si vous voulez attraper ce projet en route, VOICI le lien qui vous donnera tous les blocs depuis janvier.
