Small Christmas stockings on a string / Guirlande de petites bottes-chaussettes de Noël

I forgot to include ma latest Christmas decoration in my previous message, here it is.

J'ai oublié ma toute dernière déco de Noël dans mon dernier message, la voici.

 I embroidered the light colored stockings only, the red ones have a busy enough print.

J'ai brodé les chaussettes les plus claires, les rouges ont un imprimé suffisamment chargé.

The very cold spell we just had last weekend got me thinking about a flannel lap quilt for my husband. He has been asking for one for quite a while... and I wanted to make use of all my scrap. At last I found the perfect idea, an Irish Chain and went straight to the shop to buy a blue flannel for the background.

Le grand froid que nous avons eu le weekend dernier m'a fait pensé au projet d'un patch en flanelle pour mon mari. Cela fait déjà quelques temps qu'il m'en parle... et je voulais un modèle qui utiliserait mes restes de flanelle. J'ai enfin trouvé le modèle parfait, Irish Chain. Je suis donc allée aussitôt au magasin acheter de la flanelle bleue pour le fond.

I am hoping to finish it before the end of the Texan winter, the end of February.

J'espère le finir avant la fin de l'hiver texan, ou la fin février.
